St James Church
Husborne Crawley

Located on a hill overlooking the village of Husborne Crawley in Bedfordshire, St James church is unique in many ways.  Constructed in part using local greensand stone it is probably the only building where the stone is still definitely green.

Its belfry contains 8 bells said to be the finest sounding in the county and inside there are many items of historical interest and a beautiful east window.

St James is part of a benefice that includes St Botolphs - Aspley Guise and All Saints - Ridgmont.
